Sonia Sanchez and Grannies for Peace on Trial December 1, 2006 in Philadelphia
Professor Sanchez has an upcoming trial on December 1, 2006 in Philadelphia. Why? Well, she got arrested for protesting the war with an organization called, Grannies for Peace. Sonia Sanchez along with the other 10 women who protested was charged with Defiant Trespassing.
Here is info about her arrest for participating in the protest:
The trial will be held at Philadelphia Community Court, at 1401 Arch Street, on the second floor, at 8:30 am.
