Today’s photo of the day is the now famous “high school kiss” that has sparked a controversy in recent days.  Like other students in his graduating class, Andre Jackson paid $150 for a full personal page in the high school yearbook.  On the page, Jackson was shown kissing his boyfriend David Escobales. Although the yearbook was filled with photos of heterosexual kisses, Newark School District official ordered the picture to be blacked out from all copies of the yearbook.  After much protest, the district acknowledged its mistake and offered to print redacted copies of the yearbook for anyone who wants one.
