Today’s photo of the day shows Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Jimmie Rollins who, as I predicted, won the National League MVP award. In addition to accurately predicting that the Phils would dethrone the Mets as NL East champs, Rollins put the team on his back down the stretch and put up record numbers. CONGRATS JIMMY!

Today’s video of the day shows a few of the racist cartoons that were commonplace in the recent past. Although these videos are as old as 60 years, many Baby Boomers and their children grew up on them. Still, many people only realize how racist these clips were in retrospect.
