Today’s photo of the day shows the Villanova Wildcats, who made to the Final Four after defeating top-seeded Pittsburgh on Saturday. Although they made the game unnecessarily close by making a few boneheaded plays down the stretch, they still played a great game and deserve the nation’s respect. Now it’s time to STOMP CAROLINA!!!!!!!!!

20 Questions
March 27, 2009 by Marc Lamont Hill
Once again, I’ve had too much time on hands. Here are 20 questions that I’ve been pondering lately:
Instead of asking why Obama is using a teleprompter, shouldn’t we ask why Bush didn’t use one?
Am I the only one who doesn’t trust the AIG executives who agreed to give back their bonuses instead of having Congress impose a 90 percent tax?
Does anyone, other than the executives at Twitter, like the new Facebook style?
Does anyone other than broke musicians and sexual deviants still use MySpace?
After seeing his new video with Ciara, aren’t we tired of seeing Justin Timberlake exploit Black women?
Wasn’t it wonderful to see Michael Eric Dyson pound conservative blowhard Andrew Breitbart on national television?
Child psychologists be damned, isn’t “because I said so” the best answer to give your kids sometimes?
Why does Color Me Badd have a greatest hits album?
With Bobby Jindal, Roland Burris and Michael Steele embarrassing themselves in front of the nation, has America learned that people of color are not interchangeable?
Isn’t it scary that Flavor Flav just celebrated his 50th birthday?
Does anyone really send money to those Nigerian bank fraud emails?
Between Leno’s softball questions and Obama’s uninterrupted speeches, didn’t the President’s appearance on The Tonight Show feel more like propaganda than entertainment?
Now that they’re down with Jimmy Kimmel, aren’t The Roots the best house band in late night television history?
Am I the only one finding secret pleasure in watching 50 Cent expose Rick Ross?
Why are there 5 layers of security to get into public schools but, once you get in, no one stopping you from leaving?
Why isn’t Dwyane Wade, who’s putting together one of the best seasons in recent memory, mentioned in the same breath as Kobe Bryant and Lebron James?
Don’t you hate when people say “reinerate” instead of “reiterate”?
How long do we have to wait for another Black romantic comedy as good as Love Jones?
With the Philadelphia Phillies as the reigning champs, isn’t it great to tease those loser New York and Boston fans?
If the economy continues to tank, how long before Hillary Clinton jumps ship and starts to plan for 2012?

A federal judge has ruled that the Food and Drug Administration failed to follow its own protocols when reviewing the birth control pill Plan B and must now allow it to be sold to 17-year-olds without a prescription. What do you think?

“As someone who lost his virginity at 25, I’m strongly opposed to anything that reminds me that people were already having sex in high school.”

“I thought most pharmacies just had a barrel of the stuff out front.”
Kelly Krutsch,Payroll Administrator
“It’s like I always say, if you’re old enough to have sex, you’re old enough to ingest 1.5 milligrams of levonorgestrel to prevent ovulation, fertilization, and implantation of a blastocyst.”

Today’s photo of the day shows the incomparable John Hope Franklin, who passed away two days ago at the age of 94. A legendary scholar and freedom fighter, Dr. Franklin was the guiding light for an entire generation of scholars. May he rest in peace.
