Today marks an important day in our global freedom struggle. International Workers Day, also known as May Day, is the day where organized labor movements demonstrate, celebrate, and commemorate the struggle for worker’s rights around the world.

In the United States, IWD also marks the Haymarket Riots of 1886, which sparked the global observation of workers rights. In many nations, included the US, May Day is also a day of celebration for the International Socialist Movement.
