Hezekiah Walker is gay?

Several media outlets have released a report that famed Black minister Hezekiah Walker is being divorced by his wife because of an alleged extramarital affair that Walker had with another man. According to MediaTakeOut.com:
Pentecostal minister Hezekiah Walker, one of the most renowned Black ministers in the nation, is a reported homosexual. This startling revelation has come out during his extremely bitter divorce from his longtime wife Monique.
According to sources close to the divorce, Monique Walker suspected that something was awry when her husband infected her with a sexually transmitted disease. After confronting Pastor Walker about the disease, he reportedly admitted to carrying on an affair with a man who wears women’s clothing and a blond wig. Sources claim that Walker then forced his wife and children from their home so that he could live in peace with his transvestite lover.
Pastor Walker’s down-low lifestyle is particularly shocking given that he has been an outspoken critic of homosexual lifestyles.
A member of Pastor Walker’s congregation seemed relieved about the news, explaining that she’s “glad the cat is finally out of the bag.” According to the woman, “many churchgoers left the church because of all the rumors [concerning Pastor Hezekiah Walker's sexuality], and hopefully now the Pastor will step down and the church members can come back.”
Hezekiah Walker is probably best known for his gospel recordings which earned him 2 Grammy Awards and 10 nominations. He also performed alongside Mariah Carey during last weeks Grammy Awards.
Personally, I have no problem (politically or theologically) with Walker or any other minister being gay. If this story is true, my major beef (in addition to the infidelity) is that he has been so disturbingly and publicly anti-gay. Why do so many Black church leaders, like the ones who protested Coretta Scott King’s funeral, obsess about attacking gays and lesbians in the public sphere at the expense of other issues, such as health care, employment, and police terrorism? Rumors like these, as well as the story of “recovering homosexual” Donnie McClurkin (he admits this in his book, Eternal Victim/Eternal Victor, where he says that gay and lesbian identities come from a traumatic or abusive experience), suggest that the anti-gay venom that often comes from prominent Black Church leaders is a cover for their own personal struggles.

congregation and Pastor Hezekiah Walker, for allowing ourselves to be
pawns of a totally false story that was confirmed by mediatakeout.com.
As the founder, I am deeply hurt of the lack of integrity and respect I
have allowed to come through Music News Weekly against Pastor Walker.
I was given the opportunity to discuss this matter directly with Pastor
Walker and offer my sincere apologies for allowing such a terrible
thing to take place. In doing so, it was clear to see the strength of
god in the middle of total evil.
Pastor Walker, in total wholeness, accepted my apologies. For those
that don’t understand how powerful that is, let me offer a deeper look
at what this man has suffered because of this story. Pastor Walker is
man who built a reputation of solid integrity and respect, worked very
hard for all that he has, and inspires many through song and word. A
man who speaks to uplift and does so with his own actions. But, one
story, which was derived most likely from one sick individual, almost
caused destruction to all that he has built. A great many people are
familiar with Pastor Walker in all that he truthfully represents.
Thanks to a young lady within his church named Nicollette, I was able
to dig deeper to find what everyone else already new. Pastor Walker is
a HETEROSEXUAL MALE who was the chosen victim of total stupidity on
behalf of many.
As for myself, through the shame that goes with the territory, express
the fact that I am very apologetic to all. I find it very troubling
that this fictional story caught my attention and that of other media
outlets, but the Pastor Walker program dedicated to influencing gang
members from Bloods & Crips to turn in their guns went unheard. I now
see this as a blessing and opportunity to actually tell the story of a
man and some of the great things about him. We will do a profile story
on Pastor Hezekiah Walker and let the world read about his real life.

If he say’s homosexuality is abomination, it is.
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind”. 1 Corinthians 6:9
God doesn’t have to watch sin, but he does watch his Word, and if he spoke it, that settles it. God’s Word is true; let every man be a lie. That goes for all of us.
By the way, the Word of God does say that the unrighteous shall have there place in the lake of fire. That means “Hell”. WAKE UP AND STOP PRETENDING THAT SIN IS OKAY.
Tried studying the Word of God for yourselves, then you shall know the truth, and it shall make you free. From “SIN”
It’s a shame of some of the comments made by some preachers and reverend. I question your beliefs.
It’s clear that you don’t know the Word of God.
