Brooklyn101, I’m going to guess and say it’s more likely that he came in with the idea to have the piece created, otherwise it would’ve been a hug risk and a possibly even larger mistake if a jeweler created this piece on the hopes somebody disposable income would come through and want it. A piece like that would sit for a long time waiting to be bought.
