I know the artist, but I am not sure what song DC is referring to…be sure to share that song when you get time DC.

Who is Tony Terry? What popular song did he have?

I’m sorry…did you seriously call Tony Terry a “one hit wonder”???? Clearly you have no recollection of “Everlasting Love”…now that is one of the best ballads to date (I actually heard that Everlasting Love was meant to be a gospel song). Also, did yall know that With You was a song about his relationship with his daughter?? I absolutely love both of those songs and as I have stated in previous posts…they will both be in heavy rotation at my wedding!

did someone really ask who Tony Terry is? Man we’re getting old. . . .

Cosign San, can’t sleep on Everlasting Love and wow I didn’t realize “With You” was about his daughter. I’ve sung that song at more weddings and anniversary parties than I can count so I always listened to it from a romantic perspective.
Do your research jazzy.

why would a person make a song like that about their daughter??? now that’s just perverted and gross. if my daddy wrote some crap about me like that, i’d slap a tooth out his mouth.

he is definitely not a one hit wonder. “everlasting love”, “with you”, and “meet me in the shower” were all hits. I see someone is hating or trying to be funny, when most of us dont think the joke is funny. maybe next time, Marc.

I wouldn’t necessarily call Tony Terry a “One Hit Wonder”. He’s had hits such as “She’s Fly”, “Everlasting Love” and “Lovey Dovey”.
Also, his recent gospel album, “Changed”, is excellent. It hasn’t gotten much airplay because it’s on a small private record label, which means less money (or no money) for mass marketing/advertising.
