I didn’t even peep this yesterday and I just found out about Rudy Ray Moore’s passing this morning. In loving memory of Dolemite, I bring you one of my favorite scenes from The Human Tornado

RIP Mr. Levi Stubbs – although I never knew anything about your personal life and very little about your public life, one song out of the many (partial listed below) still sticks with me as it did growing up and that is “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)”, the other songs:

“Bernadette”
“Baby I Need Your Loving”
“It’s the Same Old Song”
“Reach Out, I’ll Be There”
“Standing In The Shadows of Love”
“Ain’t No Woman Like The ONE I Got”
“When She Was My Girl”

are ole school classics too, but I have to say my favorite song from the Four Tops is most definitely “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)” and I dedicate this song to a very special someone, who doesn’t yet know that I am the one, but she will, believe that. :)

“…i’ll wait for you…”
