Blaxx, the FBI has been known to be involved in Amber Alert cases that aren’t high profile. But–in this case–the reason the FBI became involved is because whoever abducted Julian King had time to leave Illinois with him…

Blaxx, I think the FBI jumped on this immediately b/c initial reports indicated that the boy was being held for ransom. If that is what the authorities believed the FBI takes over jurisdiction.
