natural nubian, “real bad [girls] move in silence…”

    ;-)

    Ain’t that right, DC…. ;-)

  2. Tanya - November 6, 2008 3:15 pm

Sidebar: I just noticed that is says “London’s Quality Newspaper” at the top of this pic! They are racist as all hell over there. They would piss themselves if a black tried to run for Prime-Minister.

The sentiments of the editorial board was probably, “Breaking News!!! Look what the dumb Americans did. Never gonna happen here.”

  3. Piscean Princess - November 6, 2008 4:02 pm

Technically, I was one of the very first to have a thing going with DC, waaaaaaay back in the day. It was extremely brief and we were never into the overt ePDA that has run rampant ’round here for the last few years.

Honestly, I wasn’t really tracking who jumped on my leftovers after that.

    Ok, carry on….

  4. wouldn't you like to know? - November 6, 2008 4:16 pm

HOLD UP, HOLD UP, HOLD UP!!! “band wagon heffas?!!”

we all know DC and i have the aquarian connection!
i ain’t never heard of none of y’all lovin’ up my DC, till i came through the door….stop playin’ DC and come on home to mama…those drapes need fixin’…and you know what comes next ;)

i’m tellin’ you, once you get the spice…it’s CURTAINS!

    no pun intended….SIKE!
    :)

WoW, you ladies are funny. I enjoyed reading the comments.

Dang DC, you’ve got power & swagger in the shop.

I’ve noticed it too but I’m married so I’m not part of the fight!

But carry on Ladies, I love it!

  6. DCI74 - November 7, 2008 1:28 am

Lol @ wyltk and the rest of the Shop ladies. This thread went rogue just like Sarah Palin lol. It’s ironic because I was just talking to a friend tonight about my issues with being single.

  7. Ann - November 7, 2008 10:20 am

After yesterday DC, there is no reason for you to be single…I think your options are looking real good….

    :)

  8. Ann - November 7, 2008 10:22 am

oh yeah BTW DC you know I was rocking “doing dumb shit”…that was my fav behind “true to the game” and “US”…

  9. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 10:25 am

DC, u can’t leave us hangin’ like that! What issues are you having with your singleness?

  10. DCI74 - November 7, 2008 11:46 am

Ann after your post I had to dig that cd out when I got home and it felt good blasting “US.”

Well I’m an Aquarian so I’m very independent and highly ambitious and some women have a problem with that because they’re used to a guy that wants to be all up underneath them 24/7 and I’m not him. My quality time away adds more quality to the time we spend together is my motto. Beyond that sometimes I meet women I have great chemistry with but are incompatible with or vice versa, I don’t think wanting both is too much to ask for.

  11. Swiss - November 7, 2008 11:47 am

This is so hilarious. Dr. Hill should start Barbershop Bachelor – Will you accept this keyboard? LMBO

  12. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 12:06 pm

Swiss, what’s so hilarious? ((question marks dancing over my head))

  13. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 12:29 pm

So DC, you’re challenged with the thin line between handling your business and giving/showing a lady attention and interest?

  14. Swiss - November 7, 2008 12:38 pm

What’s hilarious is you ladies “blog fighting” over DC and your respective comments – “band wagon heffas” etc

  15. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 12:51 pm

Swiss, do you realize we’re just having fun here?

  16. Swiss - November 7, 2008 12:59 pm

Take a chill pill Chgo. I DO realize that you’re just having fun. That’s why it’s so funny! Other have posted to that effect eg #101.

  17. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 1:03 pm

Swiss, I’m cooler than a fan, bruh–kinda hard to tell that through a computer screen, though. ;-)

  18. wouldn't you like to know? - November 7, 2008 1:13 pm

See DC, that’s what i’m talking about…”the aqaurian connection”…see, we both understand the need for freedom, and we both understand that, when we’re apart it just makes us hornier…see some people can’t understand the detached aloof thing we’ve got going on…but WE get it perfectly ;)

and we can’t stand “predictable”, as a matter of fact we HATE it…with me, you never know what you’re going to get…

so come on home to mama DC, come on home…you know you want to.
    hehehehehe :)

  19. DCI74 - November 7, 2008 1:20 pm

Lol @ wyltk, you hit the nail on the head perfectly. I figured you would easily get it. See Chgo it’s not about about finding balance between handling business and quality relationship time its more about being able to retain my time for self that like wyltk stated may come across as me being aloof. But without that alone time I’m incomplete, time away makes the time together I think better.

  20. wouldn't you like to know? - November 7, 2008 1:26 pm

yes we NEED our “me time”..without it we’ll go nuts…

it’s alot going on in these minds of ours…we must have that solitude from time to time..

too much time with a person is draining…no matter how much you love them…but have no fear, because we’re very faithful people…to me it get no better than that!

***waiting on DC to come home…*** :)

  21. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 1:55 pm

(((DEFEATED ONCE AGAIN. STORY OF MY LIFE)) :-(

  22. wouldn't you like to know? - November 7, 2008 2:07 pm

don’t worry chgosista, i know it’s a shortage of GOOD men….i’m willing to share…you can have him on tuesdays.
    :)

  23. Ann - November 7, 2008 2:30 pm

ahhh…lol…I dont think ChgoSista wants to be a part of a concubine…lol…(i crack myself up)…..

  24. DCI74 - November 7, 2008 2:30 pm

Lol whoa now with the insane arrangements. I’m a one-woman man, got too much other stuff going on to pay attention to more than one woman plus Tuesdays is poker night with my boys lol.

  25. natural nubian - November 7, 2008 2:45 pm

hahahahahaha. DC i don’t share baby. i almost cut a chic in pre-k for trying to get my crayolas! So I’m thinking you and i are most compatible. and i have no problem letting you go be with your thoughts. just as long as you know who you coming back home to :D

  26. wouldn't you like to know? - November 7, 2008 3:01 pm

see i was just being nice…gimme my damn DC back!

    **bringing out cat claws**
    ROOOOOOAAARRRRRR GGGGRRRRRRR ROOOOOOAAARRRR!!!!!!!!!!

i never said what kind of cat ;)

  27. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 3:35 pm

Why, DC, why–is it because she’s younger? :-(

One of my older male cousins broke it down to me like this–he said:

“See, cuz, you’re at the ‘funny’ age; you’re TOO OLD for the cats who like younger broads [sic], and you’re too mature for those 20-something old cats.”

    :-(

  28. DCI74 - November 7, 2008 3:59 pm

I don’t know Chgo but I do know I’m at a funny age too. Women in their 20s find me attractive as do women in my age range (early 30s) and older so even with a wide range of options based on age I’m still single lol.

  29. Tanya - November 7, 2008 4:03 pm

“Well I’m an Aquarian so I’m very independent and highly ambitious and some women have a problem with that..” -DC

Huh? What woman in her right mind would have a problem with that?!?!?!

I told you before you seem like a good catch! You need a good woman. GOD is preparing her for you. Just wait, she’ll come to you soon, and she’ll be perfect!

  30. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 4:23 pm

DC, let me ask this: Do you have a “type”? (Do you subconsciously or consciously pick the same type of woman–whether it be via physicality or whatever?)

  31. DCI74 - November 7, 2008 4:46 pm

No Chgo I don’t have a set type. Admittedly I went through my physically superficial stage when I was younger but that changed as I got older. The women I’ve dated didn’t all share the same personality traits either but the core ones that catch my senses (ambition, sense of humor, family oriented, passionate, etc.) were all there.

Tanya I would hope she embraces her perfect imperfections versus trying to achieve that which doesn’t exist. I know I’m imperfect so it would be foolish of me to seek qualities I don’t possess at all and never will in a woman.

  32. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 5:18 pm

I don’t have a “type” either; rather, I have “those few things” that I just CANNOT deal with.

  33. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 5:20 pm

OK, well, I DO need him to be taller than I am; at only 5’5″, I am amazed at how hard that is sometimes… :-(

  34. wouldn't you like to know? - November 7, 2008 6:00 pm

lol chgosista..i’m 5’2 and it’s sometimes hard to find one taller than me :) i feel your pain girl.

DC i’m not even going to say that i’m ALL of thee above…i’m just simply not going to :)

do di do di do (twiddling thumbs)

    hehehehehe

  35. ChgoSista - November 7, 2008 6:04 pm

DC, I cook! That’s certainly some shit u don’t get everyday! Ha! How ’bout dat?
