But I’ve also had no problem hearing who Obama is putting in his cabinet and every other comment/decision he’s made since the election. When I go to news sites or listen to newsradio I see that info everywhere. When I go to entertainment/gossip blogs I see pics like this. Now if we see this pic on cnn.com then maybe we’ve got a problem….

There must have been a story or two to go along with it.
Obama doesn’t look half bad and we’re facinated with such a young man of hue by presidential standards after witnessing (and expecting) such pallid and geriatric personages over the years, nothing the least indecent about it in it’s media driven curiosity. The media has been mad (insane) for ratings and fluff for decades so there’s nothing new there either. You can’t blame Obama, so blame the American people who crave avante garde for which you, doctor, are not altogether blameless. Albeit, in my opinion, there’s nothing to be troubled about either way you look at it.
As far as historical eras go I would think it is to be expected.

I can’t recall a time in recent history that there has been a US President that is not only this young but is clearly a nice looking man and I think people are latching onto that because it’s so new and a stark departure from what we have seen in the past. That said, I think there should be some be more media ethical responsibility with not being so enamored by a president and treating his every move like it’s a rock star moment. I think its dope we have a President-elect that takes his health seriously by working out (even though some of that is countered by his admitted cigarette habit) but I’d like to see him use that as a platform towards addressing the obesity rates impacting the children in this country. The fact this he will be spending some of his downtime in Hawaii means this is just the beginning as you pointed out Marc. This won’t be the last topless pic of President Obama we will see over the next four years that’s for sure.
