Both he, Jesse and MLK did (and are still doing) all they could to protect, love, and elevate Black people but as usual, only the dead guy gets all the props. Just like Obama, they can't BE Black America, they can only inspire Black america. I already feel sorry for Obama; at the end of his presidency, he's gonna get it far worse than Al or Jesse, just as soon as they realise he's more interested in protecting America than Black people in america. On a slightly different note, Obama is the product of a fatherless household; which begs the question - why is he so hard on ONLY Black fathers? I still think the man is a superstar but I also think he could use his story to inspire in so many more productive ways other than just the status quo tough love chastisement, which, clearly hasn't worked in over 200 years.
