Not new and more power to them. They’re officially called MiAKAs (Men Interested in AKA) and there are Alpha Angels as well, who happen to be lesbian females that wear Alpha colors. In fact, I saw them step this weekend at StompFest. And from what I’ve seen there is no animosity between the groups. Although, I’m sure that varies. Alphas were present at the step competition and hung out with the Alpha Angels.

They were originally supposed to be support systems to the AKA and A Phi’s (as in husbands and wives of Greek members), but it took a turn to something else, that’s all.
