When I hear of things like this, I think of the money being spent to implement such an initiative. That same funding could be used to give the teachers a raise, provide more up-to-date text books, become the money needed to start an effective afterschool care program, etc. To know that these administrators are more concerned with whether or not the students are boozin’ on the weekend versus concerned about raising students’ test scores and improving the school’s graduation/college acceptance rate is saddening.

Yes, and they have the cops come in with the lil contraptions that can show kids what its like to drive impaired, what a car looks like that got in a drunk driving accident, all that stuff. If they monitor this stuff at school, might as well set up an STD station to check em for herpes every monday too. This is THE dumbest thing ever.
