I also like her quote “Life is very short and what we have to do must be done in the now.”

I love this woman! What about this one: “I have come to believe over and over again that what is most important to me must be spoken, made verbal and shared, even at the risk of having it bruised or misunderstood.”
Oh yeah… here’s to being a more fearless, time-conscious and uncensored individual in the new year and beyond!

DC, that quote reminds me of a plaque my mom gave to my sister when she was young (pre-tenn or earlier). It said, “Act as though the only time you have is now.” I think that she learnt the lesson over time.

DC, the quote you cited scares me! It’s true, and I agree, but it scares me! I’ve been putting things off for “better timing”, but I guess there’s no better time than now!
I needed to hear that today. Today holds significance.

Jess, the quote you cited is my mantra!

Every morning I ask myself the same question, ‘if not now, when?’ because everyday is a new opportunity to turn everything around. It’s so much easier to make an excuse to not do something than to actually put one foot in front of the other and take that initial step.

Beautiful!
My father once said “it’s not what happens to us, but what happens within us that matters” I don’t know where he got it from, someon else or his own head but… I love it.
