eleana kagan recently nominated supreme court justice he claims to be a women but im not buying it with out proof. I agree with you. You are correct in saying “thats probably what it felt like to most Blacks who did not have full voting rights until the early 1960s.” And… the “quicksand in cement” refers to today and how people are attempting to live their lives without disrespecting the baggage and heaviness of yesteryear.

liam: Quick sand in cement? That’s probably what it felt like to most Blacks who did not have full voting rights until the early 1960s. I find 43 White males being sought out, supported and elected president not only disturbing but racist and sexist too. I find the historical marginalizing and once too often denying Blacks the right to vote disturbing too.
