DC, i see where you’re coming from with the auto-tuner thingy, but i must say, i think it compliments the beat well…i think he was going for the electrical guitar sound, which made the beat that much hotter…then not to mention how he MURDERED those last two verses…that man demolished that shit…

truthfully i don’t think the auto-tuner is a gimmick, because with or with out it, he would have still destroyed that track…
but like i’ve said, it just added to the “rocker” appeal, i think he was aiming for….

Wyltk, I hear what you are saying but to me we actually agree because he doesn’t need it and that’s what makes it corny. Put on that track followed by any Akon and T-Pain song and after a few rotations they will all sound the same. Singers use an Auto-tuner because there are notes they can’t hit naturally so rappers don’t need them at all. When a rapper like Wayne or Snoop does it, they are just following a trend a sound that has been proven to sell and hey they want sales too. That I can’t be mad at but I’m also not feeling it but that’s just me.
