Those agents were far to slow to react here. There is no way that man should have been able to throw the second shoe. Ideally, one of the agents should have been able to divert the course of the first shoe! Never thought I’d say this about US Secret Service Agents, but they need to upgrade their training! Pronto!

BTW – Something just doesn’t sit well with me when people attack Bush, verbally or physically. I don’t know why! But I do know it’s not b/c he’s a Republican. It’s not party comradery, b/c there are a few Republicans I would like to see get hit with a shoe!

I felt some kind of way (a little) when the shoe came flying. Bush has gotten on my nerves for the past 8yrs (especially w/ Katrina) but let us bash him & throw “shoes” & slurs. He’s our President & its okay for us to do it but not them!! I was glad he was able to duck & laugh it off (in the back of my mind I was wondering what the reaction would have been had the shoe hit him).
