I should have expected that from Bill. People never want to face America’s shortfalls. Mitt Romney said the same thing on CNN saying Obama was going on an apology tour. When will these guys realize America is not the perfect little country they see it to be. Once they can we can really start making this country what everyone wants it to be.

As for O’Reilly and Romney, they are following in the same footsteps as former President GWB. They are in serious denial about how America’s torture practices shape perceptions and make it increasingly difficult for America to engage in imperitative talks and solution focused discussions with other countries. They do not like to being told that we, Americans committed heinous crimes and were wrong! They are accustomed to having their way, and this is one of many reasons why even our allies refuse to take Gitmo detainees, commit to bringing more troops into Afghanistan, etc.
