I just heard this song recently, like last week. I tend to avoid the radio and I have been so uninspired by mainstream rap these days that I avoid talk of it as well. So when I head the song, I did not like it. I saw him perform on BET awards and I didn’t like that either. I saw this video last week and was disgusted! Now for those who say that they understand the concept of the song, video, please give an explanation, cause I don’t get it. I do not have a problem when an artist takes creative liberties and doesn’t do a video that is a literal interpretation of the song, but I do want to at least understand what Drake is expressing in this video besides women as sex objects.

So for those who know what the video mean, do tell…..

all i hear is the hype about how sub-par drake is.
but is ‘Degrassi’ like a canadian version of ‘Saved by the Bell’? What is Degrassi? And what exactly does Kanye have to do with this?

So I love the song and hate the video. I hate the fact that the ‘good team’ is full of ‘unattractive’ women, but of course the ‘attractive’ woman are…. well, basically only good for stretching. When I first heard the song I thought, “oh what a sweet song,” but now I must admit I was turned off by the sexist video. Nevertheless, that’s what sells, and it should be no surprise that he would come up with a video like this seeing how lil Wayne is trying to “F*** every girl in the world” and that is the label Drake is on.

I like at the end where the girl falls out on the floor all upset, like her team was holding it down until the last few seconds. Or maybe the opponent rallied at the last minute for a final score of 92 to 14.

I Think Kanye and Drake went way OVER the top with this one! And funny thing is that it is EVERYTHING I expected it to be, whenever there is great hype behind a song it usually comes out with a Horrible video.

I was going to throw my 2 cents in…then i realized, i barely heard of this kid. never heard of degrassi until today. never heard any of his songs until today (except for the video above which i heard maybe a month ago). So i did some research. The kid is moderately talented. And one thing is for sure, he’s got a LOT of haters. I never knew toronto was so choc full of gangsters. ha. Drake is cool in my book…but hes not great. He couldnt lick Kid Cudi’s shoes, shit i might even go as far as to say ole dusty Charles Hamilton even got him beat. I guess he just doesnt cater to my particular brand of hip hop.

OH….and for all the dark skinned lady’s feeling left out…holler at me if your looking to be subjegated. Cus…thats essentially what you’re complaining about.

the song was cool (until radio started playing that ish everyday all day), and I got the concept he was shooting for in the video, but it missed….but a long shot! And on top of that, I found it disturbing because of what it was implying. add to the fact that it was only light skin women on Drakes team….naw, that’s all bad.
