On the real, this was a good segment Marc. But I thought it was a little odd that O’Reilly couldn’t concede to the fact that Obama has been as agressive on the so-called war on terror as Bush has been. In fact, he’s been so hawkish up to this point; so quick to pull plays from Bush’s playbook, that he’s completely infuriated his base. Meanwhile folks on the right are declaring that he’s not doing enough…that he’s not Bush-esque in his actions. Wha…? Surely, they jest, right? Outside of outright pissing on the Constitution and giving some kind of Sith-type ultimatum (”You’re either with us or against us…”), what exactly does Obama need to do for the right to FINALLY rally behind him? When he sends more troops to Afghanistan, he’s accused of not delivering a passionate speech. If he finally uses the phrase “War on Terror”, some shmuck will complain that he didn’t put enough emphasis on the word “on.” Shit like this is further underscoring the reality that Conservatives in the age of Obama are nothing but obstructionist clowns who will disagree with the dude regardless to how close his sentiments and actions match theirs.
