Anybody know of a cookbook with a good recipe for crow? I think I’m gonna need it because my World Series prediction was so badly off.

No, Blaxx, but I am gonna recommend you read a book called “why I’m not a soothsayer” by Oedipus’ pop’s prophet’s third cousin.
I’m reading “Supreme Courtship” by Christopher Buckley

It seems that all too often you care about defending liberal viewpoints rather than actually trying to understand the issues. You are a smart guy and I just wish you would be a little bit more open minded.

Awe, blaxx i just looked at your blog thing and you’re just a baby… You’ll eat plenty more crow as you grow so keep the salt handy…

Thanks for the advice anita. People need to stop starting sentences directed towards me with “Aww, you’re just a baby…”. So tired of that. I prefer to say that I’m aging quite gracefully, thank you.

You know, blaxx, as far as predicting the future I’m not so good at it myself. But I could predict last night’s suspended game in Philly. Only when the Phillies are on the brink of winning a world series would this happen. God does not like Philadelphia. Is this were Satan’s happenin’ winter time pad is located (I’m sure I’ve been to those parties)? You know, if these games get pushed back and we have to play on Halloween, I’ll be one unfocused Lando Calrissian that night.

DC, those sound like really good reads. I am seriously going to go to the bookstore today to get 4 out of 5 on your list.

Ok Tanya, let me know which ones you get. The Timothy Ferris book I really am enjoying because extensialism and brain power are topic that interest me a lot, I stay fascinated with the human brain. The Jordan book is good as well but only covers him up to the first Bulls 3-peat. Finding Our Fathers is also good and I’m using it for teachable moments with the young men in my programs. Cosmos is written in a very poetic style.

DC, you seem like a good catch!
I will be getting:
Finding Our Fathers: How a Man’s Life is Shaped By His Relationship with His Father – Samuel Osherson
The Mind’s Eye, Human Intelligence in a Cosmic Context – Timothy Ferris
Those Who Do Not Grieve – Sia Figiel
The Gnostic’s Cosmos – Molana Shah Maghsoud Sadegh Angha
Most interested in The Gnostic’s Cosmos!

Lol thank you Tanya. Just a heads-up concerning The Gnostics Cosmos, it’s based on Sufism and touches a lot on physics and metaphysics. I think the prose/poetic writing style makes it a very easy and comfortable read.
