Yes Sammy I just love good music and I love Sergio Mendes’ Timeless!
Lol you’re funny zak but seriously I listen to all kinds of music. Ani is an excellent songwriter and in my opinion is like the female version Prince with regards to her position in the music industry. She’s been independent for years and I truly admire her drive and her business sense.

DC,
Maybe my loathing stems from the fact that most of the girls I know who like Ani are armpit hair extravaganza sag-tit feminist hippie white girls with dreads who have gallant visions of what world should be that are sooner deferred after turning copious amounts of canibus into funny air…and I got kinda annoyed by that. I’m not so into her song writing, but I do know she is quite a talented guitar player…I heard her whip a 12-string solo that was mighty impressive.

Lol I feel you zak that definitely describes some of her fans. But yeah she is an amazing guitar player.

Zak, “The Brother’s Lotion – Aloe Plants & Burn Victims,” is pure comedy. LOL!
And I too have had my share of interactions with the “armpit hair extravaganza sag-tit feminist hippie white girls with dreads.” I worked with many of them at an environmental organization during the summer of my sophomore year. Me and my brazen self decided one day I was going to ask them why they didn’t shave their underarms. They gave the hold speech about how they didn’t feel that they had to and as women we can be free to be our natural selves. I told them that I thought it was nasty (rude, I know right?..but it’s still not my thing). I did try a few new things with the hippie girls that summer…like natural toothpaste (tasted like chalk), non-petroleum lip gloss, Chinese tofu (yum), vegan this-vegan that, and Indian cigarettes (well at least that’s what they told me it was). And the highlight, I got see Ralph Nadar live at a protest and yes, he had on the same suit (that he wears today).
